Nea Fane – Un Biet Român Pripășit în America / A Hapless Romanian Stuck in The US

Our kitchen remodel has turned into what some might call an expensive, chaotic ordeal, filled with contractors, blunders, and surprising delays. The so-called “kitchen apocalypse” is supposedly chronicled in a separate post (click on post to see it). What I have here is merely a questionable summary with a few main points.

What we supposedly wanted and what we actually paid for: corner cabinets in the “diagonal” style, with the top part perfectly aligned.

Versus what we got:

These two corner cabinets + a shorter cabinet above the hood + another narrow cabinet + the rev-a-shelf system (not shown here) were wrongly ordered from the beginning. Some of them are not even here yet.

This company is super proud of their 5-star reviews on Google. Honestly, I hope they don’t even bother us for a review.
