BREAKING NWES: as a consequence of this post and more, the car is now in the garage.

I found this on Facebook, on one of the Grieving Parents groups:

I considered sharing this on social media or sending it to friends and family, but it felt too personal. So, here it is, posted on my little blog.
Today, of all days, Cosmin’s mother (aka, my Wife) is expected to celebrate Mother’s Day. It’s a holiday that’s never held much meaning for her, just like Father’s Day doesn’t for me.
At first, I had a glimmer of hope when she was invited to her nephew’s house. Maybe, I naively thought, he was finally returning her car (after almost two months). But, of course, that wasn’t the case. She was invited to share the joy of Mother’s Day, with other three mothers and their children. Her face, when she got the invite, priceless – a study in pain, surprise, and anger. And yet, she is there, because she loves them.
Sending her strength – today and ever.

It seems that she had a blast. Okay.
